England U19s beat Czech Republic 23-8

England made the perfect start to their play-off match racing into a 5-0 lead thanks to goals from Chaudry (2), Sparks, Buckland and Catterall before the Czech Republic found the back of the korf. With 7 minutes played Jiri Podzemsky, coach of Czech Republic, called his first time-out with the score at 7-1.

At halftime England had extended their lead to 15-4.

England’s dominance continued throughout the third quarter with more goals from Mitchell, Timney, Sparks and Buckland (2). 

In the last technical time-out England coach Corinne Buckland made eight changes with Jacob Dawes, Picot, Parker, Boyd, Turney, Parker, Josh Dawes and Buttinger all entering the match.

Final score 23-8.
