We would like to welcome Kevin Allen and Ed Holt to the EK Competitions Subcommittee.

Ed and Kevin’s appointments were approved by the England Korfball Board on 14 January 2021 following an open recruitment process.

Kevin will be joining the subcommittee as Chair, working in partnership with Dan Tibbitt in his role as Board Competitions lead and Competition subcommittee ordinary member. Kevin has also accepted the appointment of England Korfball Disciplinary Officer for a 12 month period.

Kevin Allen

Kevin has been involved in korfball for three decades with experience in governance, competitions, development, coaching, rules and refereeing.

He has volunteered with South West Korfball, British Korfball, England Korfball, Wales Korfball and the IKF.

Kevin has volunteered outside of korfball, spending three years with the Welsh Sports Association. When not in meetings or doing admin, Kevin will be found at matches and events in England and internationally.

Ed Holt

Ed started playing korfball in Cambridge while at University in 2013 and has been hooked ever since.

Upon graduating, he moved to Manchester and joined Manchester Warriors korfball club, where he’s been playing and helping to organise korfball activities ever since, both for the club and for the North West Area.

In his day job, he works in finance as an auditor.
