Sport England grant helps to start a brand new korfball club in York
Congratulations to York Korfball Club on their successful Sport England grant application.
Graham Smith from York Korfball Club said: “The Sport England grant made the York club formation possible because it allowed us to provide hall time and equipment from the offset – immediately removing the financial constraints of setting up a new club.
“It also allowed us to do some marketing, both with leaflets/ flyers and via social media, to try and capture as many people as possible.
“England Korfball were incredibly helpful at supporting us through the funding application process
“Even at the end of the project they’re still helping by retweeting and reposing social media posts from the new club”
