Over 1,000 take part in the National School Championships

Over 1,000 children from 57 schools from across the country will be taking part in the qualifying rounds of the National School Championship – with the winners securing spaces to play at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday 12 May 2018.

Eight areas have applied to run competitions for the National Schools Championship.

  • Bromley (March ’18)
  • Cambridge, Ely and Cottenham (26 March ’18)
  • Kent (17 June ’17)
  • Lancaster / Morecambe (October ’17)
  • Medway (17 June ’17)
  • Milton Keynes (21 March ’18)
  • Sutton, London (22 April ’18)
  • Wandsworth and Croydon (Date TBC)

Ahead of the school championships each area will be running Korfball sessions in their schools for at least 6 weeks, with each session a minimum of one hour.

We are especially pleased that in all but one of the areas new schools will be playing Korfball for the very first time.
