Kent defeat London to win senior Inter-Area Gold
The England Korfball senior Inter-Area competition took place today (Saturday, 19 May) at Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury.
Kent Korfball defeated London Korfball in the final by a single goal to take home the Gold medal, which the team also won in 2017.
The result meant that Kent Korfball won Gold at every age group this year – a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work over a number of years that the players, coaches, clubs and teachers have put into developing Korfball in the county.
Norfolk Korfball won the Bronze medal with a 7-11 victory over Cambridge Korfball.
