Europa Shield 2019: Bec v Grupo Desportivo dos Bons Dias

Bec Korfball Club’s (London) third match at the IKF Europa Shield was against Portuguese side Grupo Desportivo dos Bons Dias.

Bec won their opening match 19-16 against České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and their second match 14-8 against Haydarpasa Lisesi Sport Club (Turkey).

Bec won the match 16-13. A fantastic result and means that Bec finished day two top of their pool with maximum points.

The IKF Europa Shield 2019 takes place in Prostějov, Czech Republic, between 25-27 January 2019. Eight club teams from across Europe will compete for the shield.

Bec Korfball Club (London) have been drawn in pool A along with Grupo Desportivo dos Bons Dias (Portugal), KCC SOKOL České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and Haydarpasa Lisesi Sport Club (Turkey).

Pool B includes Schweriner-Korfball-Club e.V. 67 (Germany), CK Vallparadis (Catalonia), Szentendrei Honvéd Kinizsi SE (Hungary) and SK RG Prostějov (Czech Republic)
