Senior England Squad Selected for IKF World Korfball Championships 2019

Rob Williams has confirmed his squad for next month’s IKF World Korfball Championships which takes place in South Africa in the city of Durban from 1st to 10th August 2019.

The 11th edition of the World Championships will see 20 countries participating, with England in pool C alongside Belgium, Hong Kong China and Slovakia.

The Squad:

England’s opening match at the IKF World Championships is against Hong Kong China on Thursday 1st August at 7pm BST.

England will then take on Slovakia on Friday 2nd August at 2.30pm BST before taking on the best from Belgium on Saturday 3rd August at 6pm BST in their final pool match. 

The top three of each pool and the highest ranked fourth-placed country will qualify for the final stages of the championships.
