England Korfball to join social media boycott

England Korfball is joining the football community and other sports by taking part in the social media boycott to tackle abuse and discrimination.

The social media boycott will last from 15:00 BST on Friday 30 April through to 23:59 BST on Monday 3 May and will cover all our social media accounts.

Abuse and hate are never acceptable

Dean Woods from England Korfball said “Unfortunately many people suffer abuse, racism and harassment on social media. For far too long social media companies and their platforms have ignored this abuse and have not gone far enough to deal with the problem. Abuse and hate is never acceptable and should not be tolerated. We need to do more.”
