Kent U14 and London U19 win GOLD at the 2015 Inter Areas

The junior inter area competition for under 14 and under 19 area association teams took place on Saturday 24 January 2015 at Harrow Leisure Centre, Middlesex.

The junior inter area competition was hosted by London Korfball and Harrow Korfball Club.

Nine under-14 teams and five under-19 teams took part in the 2015 event.

Cambridgeshire, Kent, Norfolk and North West London all entered two teams and London one team into the U14 tournament.

Kent U14 finished the day undefeated winning the gold medal. Kent U14 defeated Cambridge 2 (15-0), Norfolk (8-1), London (8-3), Cambridge 1 (10-1), Kent 2 (7-1) and Norfolk 1 (10-1).

In the under-19 tournament there were entries from Cambridge, Kent, London, Norfolk and North West London. London U19 won gold after winning three of their four matches. Kent U19 also won three matches and missed out on the gold medal on goal difference.

The match between London U19 and Kent U19 finished 9-9.

The U11 and U16 junior inter-area tournament takes place today (Sunday 25 January).
