World Games – Great Britain trials

We will be holding an open trial to select the Great Britain squad for the 2017 edition of the World Games on Saturday 25 February 2017.

The trial will take place at Whitgift School in Croydon, South London between 1300-1600 GMT on 25 February.

The training session will be led by head coach Dave Buckland and assistant coach Rob Williams.

Players wishing to attend the trial should contact Sarah Friday by Monday 20 February.

The World Games are held every four years in the year following the summer Olympic Games. Over 4,500 athletes and officials from over 100 countries will take part across more than 25 sports.

The International World Games Association (IWGA) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The World Games is the most important Korfball tournament of 2017.

The 10th edition of the World Games will take place between 20-30 July in the city of Wroclaw in Poland.

The Korfball event will be held at the WKK Arena between 21-25 July.
