U17 Korfball World Cup 2016 – Groups Announced

The groups for next month’s Under-17 Korfball World Cup have been released by the IKF.

England U17 have been drawn in Group A along with World Champions; The Netherlands, Chinese Taipei, Dominican Republic and Russia.

Group B includes Belgium, Catalonia, Germany, Hungary and Portugal.

The 18th edition of the U17 Korfball World Cup takes place between 18-20 March in Schijndel, the Netherlands.

England Coach Danny Miles said “The group we are in is a very tough one, but the players have been training well and are improving all the time,we expect to give the other teams a tough time”

At last year’s World Cup, England U17 finished in 4th place.
