The Competitions Sub Committee are tonight delighted to share a the proposed National League 2 proposed format which can be found in the following link NL2 Format Proposal Released

The document describes:

• The process for the formation of NL2 in 2027-2028 and promotion and relegation from 2028-2029 for an NL2 with ten teams and an NL2 with eight teams.
• Shows which teams would have formed NL2 if it had been created following the 2025-2026 season, this is for illustrative purposes.
• Presents the arrangements for playoffs at the end of a season with NL2.
• Presents the arrangements for referee appointment for NL2.
