Keith Horton steps down after ‘two years of outstanding service’
After two years of outstanding service on the England Korfball Board, Keith Horton has made the difficult decision that he is no longer able to continue in his current role.
Keith joined the board in February 2013 and over the last few years significantly improved our governance and processes and has been instrumental in setting up our Club Health initiative and moving it into the pilot phase.
Unfortunately for England Korfball Keith has decided that due to his other work commitments he is not able to devote the time required to continue to serve on the board and therefore will not be putting himself forward for reselection.
England Korfball’s chairman Craig Gosling said “Keith’s experience will be greatly missed as part of the board. On behalf of all at England Korfball and the Board, thank you.”
“England Korfball is always looking to recruit skilled and enthusiastic volunteers onto our board and sub-committees.
“I encourage all our volunteers to be open and only take roles for a defined period of time. Volunteers are more likely to be successfully if they continually assess what are able to put in and get out of a role”
If you would like to learn more about how to get involved, please England Korfball Chairman, Craig Gosling.
