IKF publish updated Guidance Notes

The IKF have published an update to the Guidance Notes that were published last month following two minor corrections. The new rules come into force from 01 September 2015.

What has changed?

A reference to ‘tactical changes’ has been removed from the section Substitution of players, as the category was part of the old rules.

The second change inserts a missing paragraph again in the substitution of players section. The paragraph clarifies that a player may not come off and return at the same time.

The missing paragraph reads “Where competition regulations allow a player to return to the game after being substituted, he may not return into the other zone at the same time as being replaced. The game must have restarted before he becomes eligible again to be used as a substitute.”
