Hundreds of Milton Keynes students receive coaching from England Internationals

For two days in July 2015 hundreds of students, teachers and korfball players in Milton Keynes will receive top quality coaching from England senior Head Coach Dave Buckland and a number of England Internationals.

The two-day coaching sessions have been organised by the Milton Keynes Youth Korfball Trust. Our thanks to the Milton Keynes Community Foundation for their support making these events possible.

England Internationals Alex Derham, Ashley Warner, Kieran Hicks and Blake Palfreyman and senior head coach Dave Buckland were kept very busy on Wednesday (8 July) leading training sessions in two secondary schools and sessions in three primary schools.

The team also conducted a teacher training session and organised a six team tournament for secondary school students.

The final session for the team Day 1 was at local club Milton Keynes Lakers Academy.

In total over 300 young players were coached on Wednesday by the team from England Korfball.

Our team of England coaches and internationals will return on Thursday for more coaching sessions in and around the Milton Keynes area.
