England Korfball are pleased to announce the new head coach of the Elite Training Squad (ETS) as Dave Buckland. The ETS is the talent pathway which sits at the very pinnacle of the performance programme supported by the Development Training Squad (DTS) and Academy programme. As part of the annual ETS training programme, Dave will be selecting a senior team and leading their preparations for the upcoming European Championships, Catalonia, in October 2024.

England Korfball are interested in inviting all senior players who have the attitude and aptitude to be a part of this pathway to open trials, details of which will be published shortly.

Clive Dobbin, Operations Director and Lead for the Performance Programme said:-

“I am delighted that we have been able to secure such an experienced and talented coach for the senior team and the ETS programme.  I am excited to see what the senior team can achieve, starting at the upcoming European Championship.”
