We can confirm that Clive Dobbin, Operations Director and Lead of the Performance Role, has decided to step down from these roles with England Korfball. Clive joined England Korfball in September 2021 as Operations Lead for the Performance Programme, before stepping up to the role of the overall Lead of the Performance Programme and then also to the role of Operations Director. 

In October 2023 Clive was appointed as a member of the Executive Committee of the newly formed IKF Europe.  He was subsequently appointed as Vice President.  Following his appointment as Vice President Clive has decided to step down from his roles with England Korfball to concentrate on his duties with IKF Europe at a time when responsibility for competitions is being handed over from the IKF to IKF Europe.

Clive Dobbin said:-

“I have enjoyed immensely my time with England Korfball and feel privileged to have led the Performance Programme and to have also served on the board as Operations Director.  Within this time, I have seen the implementation of the new strategy of the performance programme and have seen the launch of the academy, the regional academy and more recently the DTS and ETS.  I am excited to see how the performance programme develops and hope to see the players flourish and develop for future tournaments.  I wish the board, and in particular Steph and the performance programme, all the best for the future”

Sam Wells, Finance Director said:-

 “Clive has made a massive contribution to our sport since he joined England Korfball in 2021 and will be sorely missed. His work leading the Performance Programme and as Director of Operations leaves a great legacy for the future. We are delighted Clive will still be involved with Korfball via his role with IKF Europe. We wish Clive and his family all the very best for the future”.
