Dave Buckland steps down as England coach
Dave Buckland has stepped down as Head Coach of the England korfball team with immediate effect after a 6-year reign at the helm.
Buckland who informed England Korfball’s Chairman Craig Gosling earlier today (Tuesday, 29 August 2017) led the senior national team at seven major tournaments between 2011 and 2017, including the under-23 squad at the European Championships in Barcelona, Spain in 2012
In August 2016 Buckland helped England Korfball achieve our highest ranking of recent times of 3rd in the official IKF World Rankings.

Buckland’s final match in charge was a 25-18 victory over Poland at the World Games earlier this year.

England U23 and current senior assistant coach Rob Williams will take over the responsibilities of the senior squad on an interim basis.
