So that was National Youth Day 2024!

The weather was ‘fun’ with a couple of very short safety breaks for thunderstorms, some heavy rain spells (which were played through in great spirit), and a good number of spells of bright sunshine.

Thank you to London Korfball Association and all of their volunteers for hosting, and to all of the referees, coaches and players (parents) who traveled to take part.

The Under 9s had 9 teams participate with a Top3 of Bromley Orange, Bromley Black and Cambridge City.

The Under 11s had 10 teams participate with a Top3 of Bromley, Croydon Hawks and Croydon Eagles.

The Under 13s was a small competition, leading to a clean sweep across all age groups for Bromley.

NYD 2025 will be on Sunday 6th July and areas interested in hosting should contact England Korfball. We hope that clubs can have their coaches and players put the date in the diary now, and plan/focus their development activity in schools in the months leading up to this ever-important youth competition.
