England Korfball Competitions Subcommittee Vacancies
Vacancies:
- General member – EKL Coordinator
England Korfball is seeking a general member for the Competitions Sub-Committee (CSC) to coordinate the EKL. This is to support the committee in carrying out its remit, EK delivering appropriate competitions in line with the expectations of its members and to work towards future succession planning.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the Sub-Committee include:
- Organise, administer and develop the following competitions:
- National Leagues
- End of Season Playoffs
- Inter Areas (both youth & senior)
- EKA National Youth Day
- Work with the CSC to hear any disputes and communicate any outcome.
- Engages the membership on changes to policy and rules.
- Manages and promotes the competitive tender process for areas to bid to host EK events
The Person needs to be:
- Organised
- Responsive
- Computer literate
- Personable
- Diplomatic
Current Roles
- Competitions administrator
The role is voluntary, expenses will be paid in accordance with EK’s expense policy. The expected time commitment will be agreed at appointment but is expected to be 2-3 hours a week with additional capacity needed for specific projects. The Competitions Sub-Committee usually have 5 or 6 meetings a year – currently remotely.
