Members give strong mandate to transition to become a Registered Charity
The minutes and results of the England Korfball Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) Saturday, 29 February 2020 at St Paul’s, Cambridge can be found here. Please also find the Chair’s report and IKF 2032 Olympic Ambition presentation.
The Board is encouraged that all but one of the Resolutions passed with significant support from our members.
Members agreed to all the resolutions apart from “Adopting the proposed ‘Articles of Association’” which did not receive support at the meeting. The articles will be updated and reissued in the coming months.
The Board are pleased that the membership have indicated that they are in support of the proposals to transition the English Korfball Association to be a registered charitable company.
Election and re-election of the Board
All Board members standing for election/ re-election were elected and re-elected.
Ellen Pearce was re-elected as Chair of the EKA Executive Committee, David Synott and Philip Morton were also re-elected as Executive Officers to the EKA Executive Committee.
The Board would like to thank all those who in advance of the meeting used the postal or electronic ballot to cast their vote and also to the Area and Club representatives who attended the AGM in person.
